Full Dentures (Traditional or Implant-Supported)
Patients have the option of either the traditional full denture, or an implant-supported full denture to replace all missing teeth. Traditional full dentures are secured to the gums with adhesive or natural suction, whereas an implant-supported denture attaches to implant posts that are surgically integrated into the jaw.
Partial Dentures (Traditional or Valplast®)
The dental office of Michelle Metcalf, DMD offers two types of partial dentures: traditional partial dentures, as well as Valplast® flexible partial dentures. Valplast® technology is a metal-free option for patients with allergies to metals. Custom-designed partial dentures are used to fill the spaces created by missing teeth when some of the natural teeth remain. Partials fit comfortably alongside your natural teeth, preventing the teeth from shifting. Using the latest technology with high-quality materials, Dr. Michelle Metcalf is able to give your partial a natural look, making the partial denture nearly undetectable.
Night Guards
Bruxism, or teeth grinding, affects about one in four people and should not be ignored. A night guard is a perfect solution for patients who grind their teeth at night while they sleep. All night guards are custom-fitted to the teeth and may be worn both in the day and night, depending on the patient’s needs.
